Welcome to our home in Midnight Cove.We hope you enjoy your vacation. If there is anything that we can help you with during your stay, our Management Company, Midnight Cove Inc is on site to help. PAYMENT POLICYAdvance DepositA deposit of $350 or £200 is required to confirm a reservation. 90 days is required to assure the refund of the advance deposit. BalanceThe balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
If the booking is made after the 8 week period before arrival, then
the full amount of the rental will be required.
Please note that all rates quoted are
subject to local taxes and should be added to the rates quoted. Security DepositA Security Deposit of $200 or £150 is required with the Rental balance, but will is refundable approximately 30 days after departure. Deductions made from the Security Deposit may be made for damage to the unit, furniture, fixtures, fittings, linen, carpets etc, long distance calls, excessive laundry (in excess of 3 loads),special cleaning or high electricity bills due to running air conditioning (heat or cool air) with door and windows left open etc. GENERAL INFORMATIONKeys & ID TagsDetails of ID Tags and Keys will be left for you at the Management Company Office during the hours of 9am to 5pm. After these hours they can be found in a lock box outside the office – details of lock box code will be despatched to you approximately 3 weeks prior to your departure. ID Tags must be worn or carried at both the pools, beach and tennis courts. You may be asked to show these to the attendants at any time. If you do not have these available on request you may be asked to leave the area Security GatesAbout 3 weeks before your arrival you will be given the key codes to operate the security gates. Parking FacilitiesPlease display your parking permit at all time when on the site otherwise the vehicle may be towed away. Please park in the covered area allocated to your unit. There is additional parking for guests with more than one car. Commercial vehicles, trailers, campers, trucks pickup trucks, motorcycles, motor homes, R.Vs, boats & boat trailers are prohibited from parking on Midnight Cove property except for loading and unloading. 48 hours in the maximum time allowed for loading and unloading. Mail can be picked up from the Management Rental Office after 3pm. Outgoing mail can be deposited in the Rental office, lobbies of building 9 and Mail stations on the Bayside. Pool, Private Beach & Tennis CourtsReserving chairs, tables or umbrellas on the beach or by the pools is strictly forbidden. Placing personal items in on pool or beach furniture will be removed after 20 minutes. If you go for a walk along the beach, please take them with you - do not leave valuable items unattended as we cannot take responsibility for them if they should go missing. Please shower sand off feet and beach items before leaving the beach and before entering pool areas, lobbies or entrance halls of buildings Sign up for tennis times are at the Entrance to the Management Office – reservations may not be made more than 24 hours in advance. Picnic FacilitiesCharcoal grills and picnic tables are located on both the Bayside and the Gulfside of the complex. Bayside: on the lawn near to building 9. Gulfside: In front of Parking area East side of Building 4. Trash DisposalPlease place trash in plastic bags and seal before disposal. Please where possible use the recycling bins for glass, plastic, paper etc. These are clearly marked on the tops of the bins. Building 9 bins are housed at the front of the building to the left of the main entrance door, behind the wall & through the double garage doors. Telephone ServicesLocal calls are free of charge but all long distance calls must be billed to your credit card or a phone card may be purchased from any local store or garage. Fire ProcedureSmoke detectors are mandatory in all units. If the detector goes off, please do not tamper with the system as there are severe penalties for tampering with the fire alarm system. You will be charged for resetting the smoke detector and the fire department Please Note: The apartment in a NO SMOKING AREA. Smoking is only permitted outside the main building. Your Vacation HomeIf you lose or break anything, please replace it. if you spill anything on the furniture or carpets, please notify us so that we can arrange to have it professionally cleaned before the stain sets in. Please wear footwear when going outdoors so that dirt is not tracked in or the carpeting by bare feet. Please make sure your shoes are free of sand before entering the apartment so that the carpet is not embedded with sand. Please protect the furniture from suntan lotion by using a towel to sit on when you have lotion on. Cooking is not permitted on the lanai. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING PLEASE. Garbage DisposalTurn the cold tap on before running the garbage disposal and keep the water running as long as the disposal unit is running. Do NOT put: Celery, onion skins, shrimp shells, citrus fruit, bones or paper in the unit. DishwasherOnly use dishwasher detergent. Do not use any other detergents or soap. LaundryPlease use low suds washing powder and do not use an excessive amount. Air ConditioningAll Windows, patio doors, sliding doors must be closed when air conditioning or heat is turned on. Loss of heat or cool air can lead to excessive bills and may be taken from the Security Deposit. Vertical BlindsPlease make certain that the slats are completely open before closing or opening the blinds. If the slates are in the closed position they will break when moved. Pest ControlPest Control Spray Service is performed monthly in each unit. on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the morning. Check in Check Out InformationCheck in times are after 3pm. Check Out promptly at 10am so that housekeeping can prepare the apartment for the next guest.
